I woke up last week feeling stiff. I did not think much about it because everyone has a bad night’s sleep now and again. I thought that was all that was wrong, even though I didn’t feel better throughout the day even with several cups of coffee, which is the cure for many of life’s woes in my opinion. I went to sleep that night hoping to wake to a better day, but that didn’t happen. This lasted for three days, and I finally had enough of it. A friend at work told me I should see her Vancouver chiropractor because it sounded like I might have something wrong in my neck or back since this was such a persistent problem.

I needed to get a good night’s sleep, and I also needed to be focused on my work rather than how awful I was feeling during the day. She called her chiropractor to see if they could squeeze me in after I agreed to go and see him. Thankfully, they were able to take me that same day. I had never been to this type of medical professional, so I really did not know what to expect.

My friend had told me a bit about her experiences, but she was also seeing him for a car accident that she was involved in a few months ago. I was nervous, but they made me feel so comfortable right from the start. I was in and out within one hour too, and I felt different walking out the door after having the first chiropractic adjustment of my life. The next morning, I knew that this was the right move after all because I had such a good night sleep and was ready to face the day. That may have been my first adjustment, but it will certainly not be my last!
